I already knew about the method of thinking, which are expanding and narrowing thinking field. After this class, I able to know more method of thinking, divergent thinking and convergent thinking. Divergent thinking is the expanding thinking field and convergent thinking is the narrowing thinking field. And according to Mr Yap Sau Bin, some people are good at divergent thinking. However, some people are good at convergent thinking. Usually no one are good at both divergent and convergent thinking.
There are 2 kinds of mind map, logical mind map and associated mind map. An associated mind map we are able to generate random words and also show the links between words that seemingly have no connection. Besides that, the logical mind map is directly connected to stereotypes. The Logical mind map comprises of solely stereotype words.
On the other hand, I learned one new word, called stereotype. Firstly I completely don't understand what that means, then after the class, it's a new word to add in my dictionary, although I not yet completely understand.
